Pistil Books & News started as an independent neighborhood retail used and new bookstore in 1993 in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. We also carried zines and hosted readings and art shows.
In April of 2001, because of rising overhead costs and the changing nature of the book business, we closed our retail store in order to concentrate on internet sales.
We carry used books in all fields, with an emphasis on non-fiction and scholarly titles, literary fiction, how-to, art, history, politics, and science. Quick service. Foreign orders. 24 hour response. Accurate descriptions. Excellent packaging. Drop Ships. New titles added daily. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
