Julia's Indonesian Kitchen is the only restaurant in Seattle to feature the traditional Rijsttafel ("Rice Table") - a Dutch colonial adaptation of an Indonesian Dinner; it consists of rice accompanied by several entrees perfect for a family dinner.
Indonesian has an extremely diverse population. There are no less than 300 ethnic groups and 25 dialects and languages spoken on the country string of 17,508 islands. Not surprisingly, the cuisine is just as eclectic. It has regional specialities, including Javanese, Padang and Sundanese.
Julia's Indonesian Kitchen served authentic Indonesian dishes. Julia's specialize in Rijstafel (Rice Table) consists of many different Indonesian dishes and rice, and Crispy Chicken. It has many variety of dishes such as Chicken Satay, Lemon-grass Chicken Curry, Javanese Fried Beef, Indonesian Salad (Gado-gado), and may variety of vegetarian dishes.
