Opening exhibit is “WE ARE STILL HERE.” Over 100 years ago, the last Duwamish Longhouse was burnt to the ground to force the Duwamish people from their land. Northwest Native American longhouse, exhibits, and art gallery greet visitors. Seattle is named after Duwamish Chief Seattle. Free, donations welcome.
