I offer gentle, supportive psychotherapy and counseling for people experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, life changes, and family of origin issues. Working from a person-centered perspective, I help people reconnect with their inner wisdom and reclaim aspects of themselves that have become lost. My clients describe me as patient, accepting, and although it may sound cliche, a good listener. I see my role as a collaborative partner rather than an expert, and I believe that everyone has the potential to heal and create satisfying lives for themselves.
I am a Washington State licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). In addition to my work as a therapist, I facilitate a support group for adult children of people who have Alzheimer's disease, and I teach classes at Antioch University Seattle as an adjunct faculty member.
