Bremerton's Admiral Theatre is a 1942 movie house, renovated in 1997, into Kitsap's premier live entertainment and events venue. Our mission is to enrich the local communities through arts, cultural education and entertainment.
The Admiral Theatre welcomes more than 50,000 patrons annually to 110 diverse performances and community events. Upcoming acts include our annual Sounds of the Season talent competition, Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn, New Year's Eve Comedy, Celtic Nights, and many more.
Our "Stages for All Ages School Day Series" and "K-12 Ticket To Culture" programs provide 10,000 local school kids with subsidized and free tickets to attend educational and entertaining shows throughout the school year. Our annual season includes 60 professional shows, 50 community events, and an exciting two-week musical theatre summer camp for kids.
The Admiral Theatre Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization responsible for operating and preserving Bremerton's historic Admiral Theatre.
The Admiral Theatre Foundation has launched a $1.2 million capital campaign to help renovate the theatre in time for our 75th anniversary in May 2017. The renovation includes roof, HVAC and plumbing repairs, upgrades to our sound and lighting systems, remodeling the lobby and kitchen, new seating and carpeting, renovating the marquee and more.
It's been 18 years since the Admiral Theatre Foundation and City of Bremerton completed a $4.2 million renovation of the theatre, and our current campaign will ensure the theatre remains an arts and community center for years to come.
